Over the past six months we have conducted extensive research on the presidential administration of John Adams, second President of the United States, 1797-1801.

Currently, our artisans are exploring various ornament designs with a series of rough sketches based on major events of John Adams administration. These sketches will be refined and one will ultimately lead to a final ornament design.

It is through our artisan’s ornament designs that the Friends of the White House will bring the fascinating story of the White House and our presidential history to you.
